Our company has multiple lines of business within the moving marketplace including truck rentals, storage, Moving Help, and retail items to name a few. Our challenge? Develop mobile apps that make our customers’ experience with our services as remarkable as possible and also support our internal business needs. Do you have the development capabilities to succeed at this task? Responsibilities: Participate in the data and service layer of the mobile app development lifecycle. Develop, test, and deploy web service APIs for complex mobile apps. Code, debug, test, and maintain APIs to meet requirements. Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the API. Support, troubleshoot, monitor and optimize APIs. Work with other U-Haul IT teams to design and implement quality software solutions. Conduct peer reviews of team members’ code. Skills: At least 3+ years of software development experience and knowledge of the following: High proficiency in C#/.NET framework WebAPI/SOAP/REST OpenAPI and API documentation JSON SQL Git/Source Control Visual Studio Good working knowledge of networks and security thereof. Understanding of web service API design for mobile apps. Debugging and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of the following is a plus: Unit/Integration Tests ELK Stack Kafka Postman Azure API Management Android and iOS Development You will be successful in this role if you: Complete daily development assignments. Analyze and implement solutions to presented problems while satisfying the user's needs. Write code that is easily maintainable and highly reliable. Possess the ability to multitask and prioritize work as necessary. Collaborate with a team to successfully complete projects on time. Communicate and work well with other teams. Education Requirements:Bachelor’s or higher degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Technology. OR 3+ years of experience in API development.
