Outstanding teamwork with low turnover, this unit provides nurses the opportunity to work 12 hour shifts with nurse to patient ratios of 1:4 on days/nights with a Clinical Leader to provide support throughout both shifts. We are seeking Registered Nurses (RN) to coordinate, supervise and implement patient care based on competence, professional expertise, knowledge and evidence-based practice.Your success in this role comes from your enthusiasm to help others - with a patient-first mindset. Expect to deliver care to 4-6 patients per shift
Administer medications, change dressings, monitor vital signs, and chart with timely documentation
Collaborate with a variety of other healthcare professionals such as social work, care coordination, physical therapy, occupational therapy, lab, respiratory therapy, and imaging
QualificationsMinimum:
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
AZ RN license or RN License from a Compact State.
BLS Certification
ACLS certification (in monitored areas).
Professional certification in area of specialty preferred
Preferred:
Chemotherapy certification preferred. Certification offered after 6 months of hire
One year of recent acute care experience
BSN
