Are you ready to join our team?Position OverviewInspects, test and packs evacuation systems in accordance to FAA, acceptance test procedures, blue prints with quality requirements.Primary Responsibilities

Folds and packs evacuation slides into compartment

Assembles and completes paperwork in reference to parts and part numbers.

Verifies BOM's to parts received from stockroom.

Conducts functional tests on all units to ensure that quality standards are met, including all preparatory work (vacuuming, pulling out wrinkles)

Follows detailed packing instructions from packing manual to complete functional tests and packing operations.

Completes air retention test and accompanying quality assurance paperwork.

Inspects units for defects and repairs through appropriate procedures. Prepares unit for final pack by weighing, recording the weight in computer program, and stenciling unit.

Completes all final pack operations, including final preparation, proper completion of work orders, quality assurance documents, and inspection for QA oversight procedures.

QualificationsBasic Qualifications:

High School diploma or GED

Ability to make accurate measurements.

Knowledge of tolerances and how to remain within tolerances.

Ability to enter data into different databases (SQC and E-trace).

Ability to read and understand manuals, procedures, diagrams, and blueprints.

Must be able to pass and maintain ATF Explosive Clearance.

Ability to complete all training to obtain packing certifications.

Approximately 50% of time spent standing.

Approximately 25% of time on knees pulling with hooks and strings.

Ability to balance and coordinate physical movements with others on team.

Ability to lift boxes up to 35 pounds and carry up to 25 feet.

Ability to pull and lift up to 200 pound packs, with assistance, to cart.

Ability to wear knee-pads and steel toe shoes.

Ability to operate tornado (vacuum machine).
