In some settings it also requires rehabilitation interventions and working with families and patients to better understand the neuropsychological findings and the implications for their care. The position further requires demonstrated knowledge of brain behavior relationships as reflected in presentations made in the Residents Seminar clinical research projects and analyzing of patient records/clinical findings.Located in Phoenix AZ this position is critical to the success of St. Josephs Hospital Medical Center and requires the full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission of Dignity Health.QualificationsMinimum Requirements:
Laboratory or clinical research at the post-baccalaureate level with an interest in a faculty member's line of study required.
Ph.D., post-baccalaureate M.D. or D.Sc. degree or equivalent in a relevant field of endeavor required.
Familiar with basic computer, mathematical, scientific, reasoning, and oral and written communication skills as appropriate required.
Laboratory or clinical technical and/or interpersonal skills as appropriate required.
Preferred:
Experience writing research reports concerning own work and familiarity with a biomedical discipline preferred.
Proficient in basic computer, mathematical, scientific, reasoning, and oral and written communication skills as appropriate preferred.
Technical and/or conceptual expertise in a relevant field preferred.
