What You'll DoPassionate about data?! We are looking for a Product Owner to join our Customer & Marketing Value Stream within our Enterprise Data & Analytics team. In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to partner with various collaborators to solve business problems and drive pivotal initiatives. Here in Enterprise Data & Analytics, we are at the intersection of many strategic, digital, and artificial intelligence initiatives that impact the enterprise! This provides an outstanding opportunity to provide highly valuable and critically important solutions to Principal as an enterprise while gaining exposure to cross functional engineers and teams.Here are a few examples of the kinds of things you’ll do:

Collaborate with agile team members from Data & Analytics, Business Intelligence, Machine Learning, Gen AI, and other product owners and product managers to successfully implement a variety of technology solutions for customers and business teams.

Show confidence in understanding of the product and contribute to the overall future vision and strategy.

Assist in representing a balance of product direction and the customer/partner needs. Tell the story of the problems that need to be solved and opportunities.

Focus on describing value proposition, value stream, and capability outcomes. Work with team to validate how solutions build towards those outcomes and meet customer needs.

Help with leading discovery efforts and leverage lean experiments to improve findings at a minimal expense.

Build strong partnerships with team members and business partners to represent their needs. Garner their support and engage them proactively to overcome barriers.

Assist in making decisions to enable the team to deliver quickly. Be comfortable not having all of the answers. Make small bets and embrace experimentation.

Responsible for validating the story meets acceptance criteria and will achieve the desired customer or business outcome.

Challenge status quo, encourage innovation, be open-minded and approachable. Collaborate well with all partners. Capture feedback from customers on delivered work and share with the team.

Use data, customer insights and industry trends to drive decision making.

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required, plus at least 6 years related experience

Previous experience in product ownership related areas supporting data management, analytics or consulting environments.

You have knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis and capabilities to determine the root cause of organizational problems and identify alternative solutions that resolve the problems in the best interest of the business.

Advanced planning, problem-solving, and analytical skills required.

Basic leadership and presentation skills required.

Excellent communication skills required including the ability to influence and negotiate.

Proven critical thinking, collaboration and decision-making skills required.

You are technically savvy with a passion for using data and analysis to improve business outcomes.

Ability to work on cross-functional teams and collaborate with both IT and non-IT partners.

Skills That Will Help You Stand Out

SQL, AWS, Snowflake, Informatica, Python, Power BI and/or LLMs

Working knowledge of JIRA and Confluence sites

Experience defining vision, driving strategy, and articulating the value of enterprise data and analytics.

Salary Range InformationSalary ranges below reflect targeted base salaries. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance.
