Several hundred employees support global operations in finance, human resources, information technology, planning and more from the main office, satellite offices or online. As a Hybrid employee, you will collaborate primarily virtually anywhere in the U.S. except California, Connecticut, Illinois, Kansas, Kentucky, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Hampshire, New York, North Carolina, Oklahoma, and South Carolina. Additional states may be excluded based on business factors. Occasionally, you may be required to attend in-person meetings at our Collaboration Hub in Phoenix and/or one of our site locations. The Collaboration Hub provides an open, flexible workspace for individuals and teams to come together for various business needs. Amenities at the Hub include a working café, phone booths and meeting rooms with technology tools for virtual and in-person collaboration.  In-person attendance may vary based on the position and department requirements.Phoenix is the capital of the Grand Canyon State and enjoys mostly bright skies throughout the year. There are great neighborhoods around Phoenix, with easy access to a major city, nature, the arts and many more amenities. DescriptionManage Engineering, Procurement, and Construction Management activities within the mining company. Project Manager will generally be responsible for projects in the $10-$50M range.

Responsible for planning and executing the safety, engineering, procurement, construction, and customer service for major capital projects within the company

Responsible for the scope, cost, schedule, safety, and quality associated with projects within the mining company

Monitor work performance and institute cost controls for projects

Review and/or develop scopes of work for potential projects within the company

Support Senior Project Managers in projects with a value in excess of $50M

Perform other duties as assigned

QualificationsMinimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline or related Scientific field, and minimum of eight (8) years of related experience and familiarity with processes, systems, and terminology in Project Management, Engineering, and Construction, OR

High School diploma and thirteen (13) years of related experience and familiarity with processes, systems, and terminology in Project Management, Engineering, and Construction

Criteria/Conditions

Ability to understand and apply verbal and written work and safety-related instructions and procedures given in English

Ability to communicate in English with respect to job assignments, job procedures, and applicable safety standards

Must be able to work in a potentially stressful environment

Work is performed in a mine or manufacturing plant setting, which may include exposure to extremes in temperature and humidity, moving mechanical parts, risk of electrical shock, toxic chemicals, explosives, fumes or airborne particles

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand, sit, demonstrate manual dexterity, climb stairs and ladders, and work on elevated platforms

Personal protective equipment is required when performing work in a mine, outdoor, manufacturing or plant environment, including hard hat, hearing protection, safety glasses, safety footwear, and as needed, respirator, rubber steel-toe boots, protective clothing, gloves and any other protective equipment as required

What We Offer YouThe estimated annual pay range for this role is currently  $130,000-$182,000. This range reflects base salary only and does not include bonus payments, benefits or retirement contributions. Actual base pay is determined by experience, qualifications, skills and other job-related factors. Job Summary The Project Manager I position manages and leads the coordination of activities of an internal team and vendor partners to provide complete support to the client for all project requests. A successful candidate has an ability to communicate clearly with all parties involved in a project, including key stakeholders, internal customers, team members and vendor partners and lead a project team around a common set of goals. Key Responsibilities Manage and deliver on multiple simultaneous projects of mid to high complexity from inception to close out. May have supervisory responsibility for a team of 1-4 which includes Assistant Program Managers and Project Coordinators.
