Job DescriptionAn employer is looking for additional Quality Inspectors to join their team in North Scottsdale. In this role youll be responsible to conduct routine and non-routine tests and inspections of raw, in-process and finished good products, services, or processes to evaluate quality or performance. This includes a wide range of metrology tools (calipers, dial indicators, micrometers, optical comparator, etc) as well as maintaining said equipment. Its a great opportunity to join a great team and to be able to see the products your working on impact society.Responsibilities:Read and interpret technical data and specifications (2D prints/CAD) to conduct meaningful inspections and testsPerform push and pull testing using Mark-10 equipment to qualify parts or gather data for engineeringConduct non-destructive and destructive testing on raw, in-process and finished good material to qualify material or aid in root cause investigationsInterpret test results, compare them to established specifications and control limits, and make recommendations on product release.Maintain laboratory testing and measurement equipmentMonitor operational procedures in technical environments to ensure conformance to standards.Conduct layered process audits to ensure compliance standards are metMaintain the QC database by logging, transcribing, recording, data in written or electronic form.Analyzing information and evaluating results to recommend the best solution and solve problemsStrong Own It mentality to work autonomously and manage time effectivelySkills and Requirements1+ years of previous inspecting products OR quality experiencePrevious use of measurement instruments (calipers, dial indicators, micrometers, etc.)Basic software and computer skillsExcellent written, oral communication and technical report writing skills IPC-A-610 certificationGreen Belt CertificationFamiliarity with Minitab, JMP; other statistical software nullWe are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
