Several hundred employees support global operations in finance, human resources, information technology, planning and more from the main office, satellite offices or online. As a Hybrid employee, you will collaborate primarily virtually anywhere in the U.S. except California, Connecticut, Illinois, Kansas, Kentucky, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Hampshire, New York, North Carolina, Oklahoma, and South Carolina. Additional states may be excluded based on business factors. Occasionally, you may be required to attend in-person meetings at our Collaboration Hub in Phoenix and/or one of our site locations. The Collaboration Hub provides an open, flexible workspace for individuals and teams to come together for various business needs. Amenities at the Hub include a working café, phone booths and meeting rooms with technology tools for virtual and in-person collaboration.  In-person attendance may vary based on the position and department requirements.Phoenix is the capital of the Grand Canyon State and enjoys mostly bright skies throughout the year. There are great neighborhoods around Phoenix, with easy access to a major city, nature, the arts and many more amenities. What You Will Do

Perform monthly close and reconciliation of general ledgers.

Perform, or serve as team leader in assisting with complex and interrelated financial statements for both Domestic and International companies. Oversees and review the recording of expenditures, entries and postings to general ledgers. Verify books and bank statement reconciliations.

Accountable for monthly salary allocations and accruals for global and US work locations; Serves as team leader in the compilation, analysis, presentation and monitoring of the consolidated annual budget for the site.

Consolidate financial results for multiple business units.

Coordinate accounting and financial activities and projects across multiple business units.

Oversee and assist in audit preparation by developing required schedules and reconciliation reports. Monitor and develop monthly reports of revenues and expenditures for projects.

Analyzes financial operations and recommends enhancements to policies or procedures; reviews and recommends new or enhanced automated financial systems.

Assist in preparing management reports and adhoc requests.

Perform other duties as requested.

What You Bring To Freeport

High School diploma or GED and nine (9) years in accounting, including two (2) years in prolong intellectual instruction (certifications, instructed training, OR on the job training, etc)in Accounting or Finance; OR

Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or closely related area and seven (7) years professional experience in accounting or finance; OR

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or closely related discipline and five (5)years experience in accounting or finance; OR

Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or closely related area and three (3) years of accounting or finance experience

Preferred Qualifications

CPA or CMA

Strong Microsoft Office Skills

SAP, HFM, or OneStream experience

Mining or manufacturing accounting experience

Consolidations accounting experience

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Spanish language proficiency

Able to work in a fast-paced and potentially stressful environment

What We Offer YouThe estimated annual pay range for this role is currently $87,000-$121,000. This range reflects base salary only and does not include bonus payments, benefits or retirement contributions. Actual base pay is determined by experience, qualifications, skills and other job-related factors. This role is eligible for additional discretionary and incentive payment considerations based on company and individual performance.
