Find your place in technology on #TeamAmex.How will you make an impact in this role?A Senior Agile Champion is a facilitator for Engineering teams, advocating, and executing Agile practices to support incremental delivery of prioritized work and value to end users. An Agile Champion works with the Product Owner and engineering in adopting Agile principles and values, removing impediments, and supporting an environment of continuous improvement.The Agile Champion advocates for and coach teams to implement Agile practices to drive incremental and iterative delivery of value.Responsibilities:

Facilitates Agile events and ensures alignment with product goals and vision.

Drives the Engineering team's contribution throughout the Program Increment (PI) through coaching and facilitating team level events

Acts as a Product Owner, when necessary, supports and coaches Product Owners through backlog refinement, backlog readiness, definition of ready/done, coaching on writing user stories, supports decision-making and fosters continuous delivery of business value to end users

Ensures alignment and coordination across multiple teams, aggregating their efforts to ensure all teams and products align with overall business objectives

Supports the team in achieving the PI objectives, understanding product requirements and improves the team’s long-term performance via coaching and encouraging continuous improvement in ways of working

Supports coordination across Team of Teams (Agile Release Train (ART)/Release Train Engineer (RTE)) and ensures product alignment across teams

Raises and provides visibility around gaps, impediments, risks, and dependencies. Ensures impediments are visible and tracked through to resolution, escalating when necessary

Fosters practices for identifying, tracking, discussing and resolving cross-team dependencies within the team, taking ownership of a dependency on some occasions. Uses coaching and facilitation to enable team to use dependency management techniques to drive delivery

Monitors progress and impact over time by tracking, identifying and improving delivery effectiveness metrics, ensuring alignment with product goals

Cultivates, coaches, and communicates an Agile mindset, working within principles and values and promoting a culture of continuous improvement

Improves the performance and maturity of the team (e.g., reaction time and solutioning) by encouraging innovation, relentless improvement, and adoption of best practices, with a focus on product quality and delivery

Leadership and Coaching:

Coach teams in Lean-Agile practices and mindsets

Encourage diversity of thought and demonstrate an open mindset, fostering a culter of product innovation

Inspires a culture of trust and leadership in others

Encourage a learning culture to drive continuous improvements and standardization

Respectfully and purposefully challenge the status quo.

Drives collaboration and quality practices between Agile and product teams

Provides guidance to ensure the timely identification and prioritization of technical and business features

Ensure compliance with SDLC standards across the team

Ensures data integrity for the teams within the Agile Management tools and compliance with SDLC audits

Influences team without authority; engages Agile Coaches to drive change and influence beyond own influence and authority

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in technology related discipline or equivalent experience preferred

3-5 years’ relevant experience with a demonstrated track record of growing responsibility, including product ownership or project management

Experience participating in Agile, Scrum, or other rapid application development teams is preferred.

Experience managing project/program budgets and reporting while ensuring compliance with Rally and Agile delivery platform.

Experience in stakeholder management.

Technical background with IT Operations / SRE highly preferred

Preferred Qualifications:

Demonstrated understanding of Agile, Scrum, or other rapid application development methods is preferred.

SDLC Methodologies & Practice

Strong coaching and leadership skills.

Ability to guild teams to data driven decisioning.

Ability to facilitate focused discussions to gain consensus.

QualificationsSalary Range: $110,000.00 to $190,000.00 annually bonus benefitsThe above represents the expected salary range for this job requisition.
