Senior Logistics Coordinator

Description We are working with a fantastic healthcare organization based in Phoenix, AZ 85013, and we're currently seeking a Senior Logistics Coordinator to join a great team. Your role will be crucial in coordinating patient care, handling critical thinking and problem-solving tasks, and ensuring effective team communication. This position offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity, where you'll have the opportunity to enhance personal and detail-oriented development while supporting care innovation.Responsibilities: Act as a lead resource for the team, serving as a subject matter expert on various applications and technology used to support patient care. Monitor and escalate any delays in patient care transition management to ensure a timely and effective response. Manage all aspects of patient care under the services in the clinical command center. Maintain functionality and weekly updates of Command Center Displays. Ensure all reports are completed accurately and on time. Assist in the development of an effective training program for new team members. Independently progress patients through the care continuum per protocols. Facilitate communication with referring and receiving facility staff for timely placement of patients to the appropriate level of care and unit. Document all activities clearly and accurately to promote effective communication with care team members. Provide and accept direct, constructive feedback to and from colleagues to foster a positive work environment. Participate in and encourage others to utilize creative and innovative approaches to accomplish duties.Requirements Extensive knowledge of business systems within the healthcare industry Proficiency in using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software Comprehensive understanding of billing functions in a healthcare setting Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written Proven experience in delivering high-quality customer service Familiarity with the healthcare system and its operational procedures Previous experience in an outpatient hospital environment Ability to manage patient access effectively Experience in coordinating patient appointments Proficiency in patient scheduling, ensuring smooth operations.
