Job Title: Senior Performance Test Engineer Location: Phoenix, AZ, NYC, Palo Alto,CA, Atlanta, GA Duration: Long term contract
Job Responsibilities • Design & Implement performance testing framework leveraging open-source technologies • Develop, execute, and analyze performance tests with complex workload and large simulated test datasets for distributed system running in Kubernetes environment • Setup test environment and test data required to execute performance & Chaos tests • Prepare and present performance benchmarks, best practices, test results, comparisons, and analysis • Provide day to day technical guidance and hands-on help to other engineers on the team • Analyze performance results to identify performance bottlenecks and suggest optimizations for our systems Basic Skills required: • 6+ years of experience performance testing mission critical enterprise applications • Expert using Jmeter performance testing tool • Experience using Application Performance Management tools like Dynatrace, Elastic Search, DataDog etc. • Experience with creating your own performance results analysis dashboard using Grafana, InfluxDB, MySQL or other open-source tools • Experience testing microservices based architecture deployed in distributed cloud environment • Experience with creating Jenkins CI/CD pipelines for performance testing • Experience using GitHub to managing load scripts versioning • Experience performance testing applications deployed on Docker & Kubernetes infrastructure Bonus: Some experience coding in Java and build tools like Maven SKILLS: JMeter, Grafana, Jenkins, Regression and Performance Testing
