Job Description: Are you web-savvy, personable, and plugged in to social media trends? U-Haul's social media team has an immediate opening for a social media intern to help monitor the U-Haul brand online. In this role you will have the opportunity to respond to, track, and report on online discussions about U-Haul in order to enhance the U-Haul brand-and perhaps create new customers. Your purview will span platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Pinterest, and others, where you will perform community outreach and facilitate dialogue to increase engagement. Have an impact on the social media presence of a large, fast-growing company
Experience in content analysis and trend identification
Practice writing discussion content as well as industry- and company-wide news, reviews, etc.
Training in monitoring tools
Hours per Week: 25-30 approximately
Compensation: $17/hour
Requirements:
Must be in a degree program involving marketing or similar
Understanding of how to use a variety of social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Pinterest, blogs, etc.).
Detail-oriented, well-organized, and able to work independently and as a team
Proficiency with a variety of social media platforms
Excellent communication skills
Ability to utilize our monitoring tool following training
