Your Opportunity

Identity and access management (IAM) technologies and business processes enable the creation, maintenance, and use of digital identity - ensuring that the right people gain access to the right materials and records at the right time. The IAM program serves the needs of Schwab by implementing IAM best practices via technologies and methods that improve convenience and ease of access for workforce members while safeguarding records and other key data. The IAM Access Risk and Controls (ARC) team is focused on the validation and continuous operating effectiveness of centralized and distributed IAM processes, including establishing and leveraging data assurance processes for continuous monitoring, process improvement, and risk mitigation for Schwab.

We are looking for an experienced Security Analytics and Operations Specialist to create, maintain, support, and improve the monitoring and hygiene of the data in Cloud and other directories. You will be working with a team of professionals with special focus on data hygiene, risk analysis, and guideline development.

What you are good at

  • Monitoring and documenting cybersecurity metrics and activities for portions of assigned systems and areas
  • Utilizing a risk-based approach to solving problems
  • Working with minimal supervision on new assignments
  • Explaining complicated information at a level appropriate to the audience
  • Translating complicated information and effectively communicating alternatives to consider
  • Interacting with high-level individual contributors and managers


What you have

  • Basic understanding of directories such as OUD, RadiantLogic, and Cloud (Azure, Google Cloud Platform, AWS) directories
  • Good understanding of service principals and secrets management
  • Solid skillset in PowerShell or other scripting language(s)
  • Experience using RESTful APIs
  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • A drive to research problems and analyze data
  • The ability to understand sub functional priorities and how they contribute to the success of the function and organization
  • The ability to manage team projects with other team members and participate in cross-functional projects
  • Proven written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
