Job Title: Study FacilitatorJob DescriptionThis position involves working with a Fortune 500 tech company to validate algorithms on their prototype device. The role includes supporting the data collection process by working directly with participants during scheduled sessions, which can last up to 2.5 hours each. Study facilitators will not be responsible for recruiting participants but will be required to consent participants, take necessary vitals and measurements, set up devices, monitor participants, and ensure proper data collection throughout the session.Responsibilities
Consent participants according to protocol
Take necessary vitals and measurements (height, weight, EKG) throughout the session
Ensure participants are properly set up with the device and any monitoring equipment
Observe participants using the device during various activities according to the protocol
Ensure data monitoring is functioning properly throughout the session
Ensure proper data collection
Essential Skills
Bachelor's degree in science, exercise science, kinesiology, biology, or related field
Ability to execute test protocols
Technical proficiency to operate test devices and perform data entry
Familiarity with gym equipment and clinical research
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in human subject research
Data analysis skills
Work EnvironmentThe work environment includes both morning and afternoon shifts, with an AM shift from 7:30 AM to 3:00 PM and a PM shift from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM. You will be on your feet for long periods, with some desk work, and will work with participants in a simulated environment. Flexibility in shifts is provided to accommodate school schedules, making this an ideal opportunity for graduate students.
