Applicants without these documents should not apply.Only U.S. Citizens and U.S. Persons are eligible for this role.Position Description:We are seeking a Test Reliability Technician with experience in electrical assembly testing, troubleshooting, and environmental testing of aircraft components. This role is critical for ensuring product integrity and supporting engineering development and qualification tests.Key Responsibilities:
Plan, assemble, disassemble, rework, and perform engineering development and qualification tests on various aircraft components and systems.
Analyze and evaluate test results to verify compliance with required parameters.
Follow blueprints, guidelines, and diagrams to meet product specifications and tolerance levels.
Perform functional testing using pre-established part-specific test procedures.
Monitor tests, record data, and maintain test equipment as needed.
Document acceptance or failure results.
Use hand/machine tools, electronic/manual test equipment, and mechanical measuring devices correctly.
Load and unload electronic equipment into test beds properly.
Comply with quality systems and participate in continuous improvement initiatives (ACE).
Meet internal and external customer deadlines.
Request tools and supplies as required for project needs.
Train others on technical tasks as needed.
Interface with other functional groups to resolve business-related issues.
Participate in audits and waste minimization efforts.
Adhere to safety protocols and hazardous waste disposal programs.
Required Skills and Experience:
Proficiency with test stands, vibratory tables, and thermal chambers.
Experience with troubleshooting electronic components.
Ability to perform electrical assembly testing and verification according to engineering requirements.
Hands-on experience with thermal and vibratory testing.
Familiarity with computer tools like SAP and the ability to follow work instructions accurately.
Initiative to maintain schedules and ensure process efficiency.
Education:
High School Diploma (or equivalent).
Additional Information:
$200 subsidy provided for safety-toe shoes.
Candidates with a background as a Test Technician and relevant experience are strongly preferred.
