We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Banquet Sous Chef. High energy RV Resort for a 5 Star, 55+ community. Oversees the preparation and execution of food for large-scale events like banquets and catering functions. Directly assisting the Executive Chef by managing the kitchen staff, ensuring quality standards are met, coordinating menu planning, and ensuring smooth food production during events, all while maintaining proper food handling and sanitation practices. This is a seasonal position with ideal time in the summer months to enjoy travel or leisure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and serving food to guests at our resort while ensuring high standards of hygiene and customer service. We work hard and we play hard!
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a similar role preferred
- Knowledge of food safety regulations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Flexible and sometimes long hours
- Outstanding Customer Service and friendly attitude
Responsibilities:
- Prepare food and service lines for guests and residents
- Instruct and train workampers and kitchen personnel
