We are a newly opened hookah lounge in the heart of Phoenix, Arizona, offering a unique and exciting environment for guests. We're seeking a passionate and experienced Chef/Kitchen Manager to lead our kitchen operations, ensuring high-quality food service that complements our hookah experience. Key Responsibilities:

Manage all kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation.

Create and develop menus that align with our lounge's unique vibe.

Ensure compliance with food safety standards and hygiene regulations.

Manage kitchen staff, including hiring, training, and scheduling.

Maintain kitchen inventory and order supplies as needed.

Ensure that the kitchen operates efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining food quality and consistency.

Communicate effectively with front-of-house staff to ensure a smooth guest experience.

Organize and maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 5+ years of experience as a Chef, preferably in a fast-paced environment.

Previous experience managing a kitchen or leading a culinary team.

Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with staff.

A positive attitude, leadership skills, and the ability to handle high-pressure situations.

Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.

Experience with menu development and food costing is a plus.

Familiarity with Middle Eastern cuisine is a big plus.

Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.

Background check required.
