Tiki Star is a full service tiki bar and restaurant located in the Park West Shopping Center in Peoria. We are looking to hire line cooks, as well as a kitchen manager and dishwasher. Our menu consists of burgers, sandwiches, salads, appetizers and entrees with a fusion of Polynesian and Asian cuisine. We have AM and PM positions available, and can work a schedule around another job.
Line cook duties include:
- preparing recipes during down time
- working the line during the rush ( sautee, grill, flat top, fryer, pantry)
- restocking your station at the end of the shift
- cleaning the kitchen at the end of the shift.
Kitchen Manager duties include:
- helping prep recipes
- cooking on the line during the rush
- nightly prep list for the next shift
- nightly produce orders
- bi-weekly food ordering from Sysco
- checking out cooks before they leave to ensure kitchen is 100% clean and stocked
Dishwasher duties include:
- washing dishes, utensils and glassware Finnish machine.
- washing pots and pans inn3 compartment sink
- drying plates and putting everything back where it belongs.
- mopping and sweeping at end of night in dish area
- taking trash to dumpster
