Osteria Mia is a family owned Italian restaurant located in North Phoenix, inside of the Shops at Norterra. We are looking to add Chef's and Cooks to our kitchen team. We are opening a second location in a few months, so we are looking to bring some experienced people in to train to either move to the new location, or replace the current cooks who will be moving to the new location.
We are looking for the following positions: sautee cooks, garde manger/fry cooks, pizza cooks, and 2 Sous Chef's and a kitchen manager.
We are a scratch kitchen, where everything is made in house. We make fresh pasta, fresh mozzarella, pizza dough, and every sauce and dressing from scratch.
Experience required:
Pizza Cook- must have experience working with a wood fired oven
Sautee: must have 1 year experience working the sautee station in a high volume restaurant
Garde Manger- must be able follow recipes and have good knife skills.
Sous Chef/ Kitchen Manager - must have great leadership qualities. Must be able to create weekly specials.
