Toscana is a new, exciting Italian restaurant offering a contemporary take on classic Italian dishes. Our mission is to provide a warm, authentic dining experience by using the freshest ingredients and preparing food with passion and precision. We are looking for dedicated and enthusiastic individuals to join our kitchen team as Line Cooks. Job

Summary: As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality Italian dishes according to the restaurant’s recipes and standards. You will work closely with the kitchen team to ensure the smooth operation of your station and contribute to the overall guest experience. This is an excellent opportunity for those passionate about Italian cuisine and looking to grow and collaborate in a dynamic kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and cook menu items following recipes, portion sizes, and presentation standards.

Ensure food quality and consistency, adhering to health and safety regulations. Set up, stock, and maintain cleanliness and organization of your station throughout service.

Assist with other kitchen staff to complete prep work and meet service demands.

Follow proper food handling, sanitation, and storage practices.

Maintain a clean and organized workstation, including proper equipment and utensil care.

Perform daily cleaning duties and kitchen maintenance.

Communicate effectively with team members and contribute to a positive work environment.

Ensure efficient operation under pressure during high-volume service periods.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a line cook or in a similar role in a restaurant setting (Italian cuisine experience is a plus).

Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Knowledge of kitchen equipment, food safety standards, and sanitation guidelines.

Ability to follow recipes accurately and replicate dishes consistently.

Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required.

Culinary education or relevant training

is a plus but not required.

Skills and Competencies:

Passion for Italian cuisine and cooking.

Ability to work efficiently under

pressure while maintaining attention to detail.

Adaptability and willingness to learn new techniques and dishes.
