Line Cook/Prep Cook

Line cook. Breakfast, lunch and appetizers. Includes, but not limited to, food prep, grilling, baking, frying and catering events.

Qualifications

- Restaurant cook experience preferred

- Food handlers card required

- Knowledge of proper food handling procedures and temperatures

- Must be able to multitask and work well in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

- Prepare menu items according to recipes and specifications in a sanitary and timely manner

- Create new and innovative menu items

- Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently

- Clean and maintain all back of house equipment and appliances

The 500 Club Golf Course, a busy public golf course, seeks a well-motivated seasoned line cook to work 5 days per week. (Wednesday through Sunday) 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

Applicant must be well versed in all kitchen equipment including fryers, flat top grill, char broiler, ovens, etc

Applicant will also need the ability and have the experience to work alone in the busy seasonal kitchen including daily prep work as well as clean up.

Applicant must have the ability to create and provide, with kitchen manager, weekly small group buffet style meals as well as the occasional large group buffet meals.

Applicant must be punctual, professional, and reliable to arrive on time ready to work.

Applicant will need to train with current Food and Beverage Manager and get familiar with menu items such as burgers, tacos, soups, sandwiches, various breakfast, and lunch items.

500 Club provides a great work environment in an upbeat busy golf course kitchen.
