Nobu, the world-renowned Japanese restaurant, is hiring for its Scottsdale location. We are seeking a highly motivated professional to join our team as a Sushi Prep. Responsibilities:
Assist in the preparation of high-quality sushi and other menu items following Nobu’s standards.
Maintain a clean and organized workstation, adhering to all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
Ensure proper handling, storage, and labeling of ingredients.
Prepare ingredients for sushi, including slicing fish, cutting vegetables, and making rice.
Collaborate with chefs and kitchen staff to maintain smooth kitchen operations during service.
Uphold Nobu’s standards of presentation and quality in every dish prepared.
Effectively manage prep time and meet service deadlines.
Perform additional duties as assigned to support the culinary team.
Requirements:
A minimum of 1+ years’ experience in a high-volume, upscale restaurant.
Must be available to work dinner shifts, weekends, and holidays.
Punctuality, professionalism, and effective communication skills are essential.
Ability to multitask and maintain composure in a fast-paced environment.
