We're looking for someone who possesses an ability to self-govern, works with a sense of urgency, is reliable & willing to learn from those around them. One year of experience in a fast-paced, evolving kitchen is preferred but not mandatory.

MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Reports to work in a timely manner
Breakdown station and kitchen line after PM service (PM line cook 4/5pm-12/1am) in accordance with restaurant expectations and opening/closing guides
Able to multitask effectively to better set themselves and their team up for success
Ensure a clean, neat, and organized work area.
Responsible for daily operational procedures and responsible for food production
Adheres to company recipes, unless otherwise directed by Chef
Is skilled in food preparation such as cutting, peeling, chopping and slicing fruits and vegetables as well cutting of meats & fish; replenishes service lines as necessary
Cooks foods in accordance with restaurant standards, including activities such as baking, broiling, frying, grilling, steaming, braising, boiling, and pressure cooking.
Help prep team with daily prep list when opportunity presents itself
Prepares and cooks meats, fish and vegetables using a full range of cooking methods; tests foods being cooked for quality
Addresses problems and conflicts in a professional and effective manner with supervised staff, allowing for opportunities of learning and growth, and facilitating such opportunities in a respectful manner.
Assists in maintaining a safe, neat, and clean environment.
Willingness to be taught and further develop food knowledge and technique.
Would like to bring ideas to a collaborative space and work with a collective team.
Exhibit qualities of a team player and interacts with team positively and professionally.
