- Provide direct care and support to individuals in a residential setting
- Assist with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Administer medications according to prescribed instructions
- Monitor and document changes in residents' health and behavior
- Assist with meal planning, preparation, and feeding
- Engage residents in recreational activities and social interactions
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment
- Follow established protocols and procedures for resident care
- Collaborate with other caregivers, nurses, and healthcare professionals
Qualifications:
- Caregiver Certificate in Arizona, Valid Fingerprint Card, Current TB
- Ability to lift and transfer individuals with mobility limitations
- Knowledge of basic cleaning techniques and ability to maintain cleanliness standards
- Familiarity with healthcare systems and procedures
- Experience working with individuals with autism or other developmental disabilities is a plus
- Previous childcare or caregiving experience preferred
- Understanding of resident rights and commitment to upholding them
- First aid certification is a plus
Minimum of 1 year of experience in a long-term care setting
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Compassionate and empathetic nature
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent time management and organizational skills
