Our accomplished dental practice is seeking an accomplished Dental Receptionist / Front Desk for an opportunity to join our team in the of the West Valley (the closer to Phoenix part).

Job Summary:
The ideal candidate is a friendly, organized, and detail-oriented and understands customer service and the importance of clear communication between the front and back office. This position includes all aspects of front office work as needed, with a particular focus on insurance, claim and posting/financial management. The ideal candidate should have a very strong understanding of these functions, as well strong Dentrix proficiency. We have multiple tools to support the right candidate.
Responsibilities:
Patient Interaction:Greet patients warmly, in person and on the phone.
Appointment Management: Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments using practice management software. Understands scheduling principles.
Communication:Answer phone calls, respond to patient inquiries, and direct calls appropriately.
Patient Registration:Assist patients with paperwork and update records accurately.
Insurance Verification:Verify patient insurance coverage and eligibility.
Payment Processing:Collect patient payments and manage billing inquiries.
Records Management:Maintain and organize patient records and documents.
Office Maintenance:Ensure the reception area and waiting room are clean and organized.
Other Duties:Perform general office duties like photocopying, filing, and faxing.
This is a full time position with some Saturday mornings.
Qualifications:
Minumum five years dental front office experience.
Expertise with dental practice management software (Dentrix).
Bilingual (Spanish) is preferred.
Asks questions, open to giving and receiving constructive criticism.
Strong computer and data entry skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.
Demonstrated ability to handle a fast-paced environment with professionalism and efficiency.
Understanding of dental terminology and procedures.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations.
