We are a specialty office with 2 locations, in Mesa off of Power and Broadway, and in Tempe off of McClintock and Baseline. We are well-known and respected within the medical community since 1991. Our practice is comprised of three Physicians and three Nurse Practitioners.
We see an average of 130-150 patients per day and have a very heavy call volume in both front and back office. The position is fast-paced and very demanding.
This position is primarily for front office. The ideal candidate will have back office experience and be willing to float between front and back office as needed. Must be willing to work at both Mesa and Tempe locations.
This position is responsible for but not limited to:
Check-in and check-out patients
Answer phones and assist patients
Scheduling Appointments
Retrieve and process voice and portal messages
Responsible for ensuring receipt of referrals and authorizations for appointments
Entry of demographic and insurance information into the computer
Scanning documents into the EMR
Collection of all co-pays and outstanding balances at time of check-in
Obtain medical records for all new patients
Confirm appointments according to appointment confirmation guidelines
Rooming patients and performing back office duties when needed
Must have EMR experience (ECW preferred)
Must have both front and back medical assistant knowledge
Must have a positive attitude and be able to adapt to any situation quickly and appropriately
Must be detail oriented and able to maintain integrity of records
