Looking for help ASAP!
I'm a 33-year-old male with Muscular Dystrophy who is in need of multiple caregivers. Caregivers must be able to safely lift and carry 45lbs without a Hoyer lift.
I'm looking for caregivers who'll assist me with:
- transfers to/from bed/shower and power wheelchair
- getting dressed
- eating/drinking
- showering
- bowel care
- teeth/hair care
- driving me to/from social events, errands, and meetings
- caring for our 2 dogs (feeding them, taking them out to potty, and some light play)
- light house cleaning + organization and upkeep
Hours available
Mondays-Thursdays from 7am - 7pm
Ideal candidate has prior caregiving experience with higher levels of care. Must be fluent in English, punctual, reliable (including transportation), patient, professional, caring, hardworking and motivated.
I have a Bachelors in film from ASU and a Masters in Counseling from Phoenix Seminary. I'm a licensed therapist and live in north Phoenix with my wife and our 2 dogs. We love Jesus and we love people, and I'm a big Arizona sports fan.
