We are looking for a live-in-caregiver to provide daily assistance to my mom who is in her mid-70s. She needs assistance with all ADLs - meal prep, bathing, dressing, toileting, and transfers (to/from wheelchair, bed, and toilet). She has significant weakness on one side from a prior stroke. Caregiver must be physically capable of safely transferring an approx. 140 lb woman w/ gait belt. Position is to assist her in her personal residence throughout the day, provide companionship, and transport/accompany her to/from appointments as needed (physical therapy, nails, hair, family events, etc). Private 1:1 care.
This is a LIVE IN position where Caregiver will be provided an on-site private furnished apartment for full-time living. My mom needs 24/7 supervision. Schedules and hours will be distributed between a total of three caregivers to ensure coverage. Caregiver will be responsible for covering 1+ days per week (my mom’s awake hours, with evenings on call). Errands and grocery shopping as needed. Pay of approx $175/per assigned day (paid as weekly salary, calculated according to number of scheduled days worked) plus living expenses covered. Position is in central Scottsdale.
On-site private furnished apartment is being constructed, estimated completion in early 2025. Temporary housing to be provided during construction following a 2-week trial period.
Pay/Benefits:

- Weekly salary calculated off $175/day, W2 pay

Job Requirements:
- Must have valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Must have ability to pass background check and screen for illegal drugs
- Must be legally authorized to work in the USA
- Must be ok with friendly dogs
- Must have prior caregiver experience
- Must be reliable, dependable and on time
- Ability to use sound judgement and remain calm in a variety of situations
- Must have reliable vehicle
- Must be able to safely transfer an approx. 140 lb woman with a gait belt.
