Live-In Caregiver needed. Total compensation package of over $5k per month (consisting of $2166/month wages, PLUS more than $3k/month in paid living expenses (paid rent, paid utilities (electric, water/sewer/trash, internet, streaming TV), provided/paid cell phone, auto repair reimbursement, and paid groceries). The "on-days" for this position are Thurs, Fri and Sat during my mom's awake hours, approx. 7am to 7pm, evenings on call. "Off" days are Sun, Mon, Tues, Wed - which are covered by two additional caregivers. We are looking to fill our final CG spot, then we will be fully staffed.

This is a LIVE-IN position: A significant portion of the compensation for this job is in the form of tax-free room and board. As part of employment, a private on-site apartment located in the property's detached guest house will be provided for the caregiver's full-time regular residence/living. This means the apartment is provided for use on both "on-days" and "off-days." All 3 caregivers have their own on-site private apartments (NOT shared). Employee housing only. No pets. Caregivers are expected to use the provided apartment as their full-time residence and have some flexibility with hours (ex. switch an occasional day if another caregiver is out sick, on vacation, etc.).

Some errands, grocery shopping, and additional help as needed. Position is in a fantastic neighborhood in central Scottsdale. Looking for the right long-term fit

MUST PROVIDE RESUME OR DESCRIPTION OF PRIOR CAREGIVER EXPERIENCE TO BE CONSIDERED

We are looking for a live-in-caregiver to provide daily assistance to my mom who is in her mid-70s. This position is to provide assistance with all ADLs - meal prep, taking blood pressure, medication reminders, bathing, dressing, toileting, and transfers. She has significant weakness on one side from a prior stroke. Caregiver must be physically capable of safely transferring an approx. 140 lb woman w/ gait belt. Position is to assist her in her personal residence throughout the day, provide companionship, and transport/accompany her to/from appointments as needed (physical therapy, nails, hair, family events, etc.). Private 1:1 care. Because of the personal nature of the job (toileting/bathing), FEMALE APPLICANTS ONLY.

We are building a new larger home where my mom will live with me in her own attached casita (estimated completion in the next 2-3 weeks). On-site caregiver apartments in a detached guest house are also being constructed with estimated completion June 2025. See included renderings (drawings) showing an approximation of what the private caregiver apartments will look like when complete. NOT ACTUAL PHOTOS. Temporary housing to be provided during completion of construction following a 2-week trial period. AT THIS TIME, WE ARE ONLY ABLE TO CONSIDER LOCAL APPLICANTS (who are already living in the Phoenix metropolitan area). Reliable and dependable attendance is required.

Pay/Compensation

- Compensation package consisting of:

- $2166/month in W2 pay

- $3k/month in paid Rent and Living Expenses:

Paid Rent: Provided private fully furnished 540 sq ft apartment with private entrance, kitchen, and washer/dryer in unit.

Paid Utilities: Electric, water/sewer/trash, internet, streaming TV

Provided/Paid Cell Phone: Provided iPhone 14

Provided/Paid Groceries/Household Supplies: For Caregiver’s personal use only. Large on-site grocery area stocked with a variety of pantry, refrigerator, freezer, and general household goods

Provided On-site Storage: Provided private 7x6 storage unit

Auto Reimbursement: Reimbursement for approved auto repair expenses up to $50/month

- PTO and sick time

Rent and Living Expenses provided after successful completion of 2-week trial period. Trial/training period is paid at $18/hr.

Job Requirements:

- Must have valid driver’s license and clean driving record

- Must have ability to pass background check and screen for illegal drugs

- Must be legally authorized to work in the USA

- Must be ok with friendly dogs

- Must have 2+ years professional caregiver experience

- Must be reliable, dependable and on time

- Ability to use sound judgement and remain calm in a variety of situations

- Must have reliable vehicle (for use in occasional transport of my mom)

- Must have a working smart phone capable of downloading a time keeping app (new iPhone to be provided after successful completion of probationary/trial period)

- Must be able to safely transfer an approx. 140 lb woman with a gait belt

- Must be able to live in provided employee housing full-time

- Must work well in a team/group environment
