Job Type: Part-time- Flexible
Schedule:
Day shift - Monday to Saturday. - days and hours vary.
Salary: From $17.00 - $19.00 per hour (DOE)
Qualifications:
Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or equivalent.
Positive attitude with providers, patients, and administrative team.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written: English preferred; Spanish is a plus
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to provide compassionate patient care.
Ability to work effectively, with strong work ethic and reliability.
Skilled in scheduling patient telehealth encounters via Zoom.
Responsibilities
Taking patient vitals and documenting medical information into EHR.
Prepare patients for tele video examinations via zoom.
Collect payments.
Schedule follow up appointments.
Administer medications as directed by doctor.
Maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
Experience
Experience: New grad and up
Previous experience working in health and wellness, or similar healthcare setting is preferred.
Experience in a medical office setting a plus.
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required; certification as a Medical Assistant is a plus
completion of a medical assistant program is preferred.
