Great job for those who have/are looking for medical experience, or are licensed nurses
I'm a 32-year-old male with Muscular Dystrophy who is in need of an overnight caregiver. I'm looking for a female caregiver or nurse who'll assist me with the following requirements:
- transfers to/from bed and power wheelchair (I only weigh 45lbs due to my disability)
- repositioning me throughout the night to avoid bed sores without waking me or my wife
- assisting with bipap machine for sleep
- dressing/undressing
- teeth/hair care
-helping with food/drink orally
Additional duties may include:
-assisting with feeding tube
- assisting with Foley catheter bag or tube
Hours needed:
Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Sundays from 9pm - 6am.
Saturdays from 10pm-6am
Ideal candidate must be female, fluent in English, punctual, reliable (including transportation), patient, professional, caring, hardworking and motivated.
I have a Bachelors in film from ASU and a Masters in Counseling from Phoenix Seminary. I'm a licensed therapist and live in north Phoenix with my wife and our puppy. We love Jesus and we love people, and I'm a big Arizona sports fan.
