Overnight Opportunities 11p-8a-AWAKE POSITION (mainly weekend if possible)
Empowerment Life Services LLC in Mesa, AZ is looking for responsible adults with the desire to assist with the in-home care of foster kids in a group home on the weekends. The children, ages 6-17, may have behavioral/mental health issues due to their background of abuse and/or neglect. Thus, our goal is to provide a safe and healthy environment, nurture positivity, and implement structure for our youth. This is for mainly a weekend position, to be filled by someone who can apply our policies and procedures.
Responsibilities:
Dispense Medications
Adhere to Company Policies and Procedures
Teach Youth Life Skills
Meal Preparation (alongside youth)
Paper Work/Documentation
Redirect/De-escalate Client Behaviors
Transport in Company van (12 passenger E350)
Cleanliness and Upkeep of the Home
Minimum Qualifications:
MUST BE 21 or older
High School Diploma or G.E.D.
Must Possess Fingerprint Clearance Card
1 year Experience Working with Youth
CPR/First Aid Certified
Valid Driver’s License (NO DUI or major offenses)
Pass Pre-employment Physical Ability Test
TB Test and
Pass Pre-employment drug test
Must be able to lift 50+ lbs
