Apartment maintenance technicians are expected to have the required skills to be able to turn an apartment, complete service requests, and work orders, as well as help out with other miscellaneous tasks independently.
At least 1 year of on-site residential maintenance experience is required, with full knowledge of basic residential plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall repair, painting, and appliance repair.
Responsibilities
· Diagnose and repair maintenance issues in the apartments
· Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds
· Regularly inspect all apartment units, buildings, and common areas
· Performs trash-outs and make-readies to ensure units are ready for future residents
Requirements
· 1 year of on-site apartment maintenance / residential work experience
· General knowledge of all aspects of residential maintenance (HVAC certified a plus!)
· Ability to prioritize projects and work independently
· Have own hand tools and power drill
