Responsibilities
Labor crews are vital to the setup of new projects and frequently set up to prepare the soil for our equipment
The common theme is that you’re going to be working on the ground with hand tools, doing lots of walking in various conditions, lifting, digging, carrying and misc. construction duties
Work outside in all seasons
Stand, walk and carry tools and materials from 10-50+ lbs.
Clearly Communicate with teammates, operators, and supervisors
Use shovels, brooms, hand tools to assist earthwork operations
Haul, Carry and set up HDPE pipe for pre-wet and/or wet operations
Our Projects typically run Monday- Friday, during daylight hours, overtime & weekends when needed
Commit to being on call when needed for customer emergencies
Adhere to safety rules, regulations and/or policies, Safety is a must at all times.
The ability to perform safe and efficient labor according to the Company Policies Procedure

General Construction Laborer
Auza Contracting, inc. is seeking general construction laborers to work on earthmoving projects and miscellaneous construction jobs.
About us
For 22 years Auza Contracting, inc. has been a leader in the heavy earthmoving and underground utility industry. We own and operate heavy equipment and a fleet of vac trucks and various vehicles.
A good number of our current Heavy Equipment Operators started as laborers, so if you’re looking to get into that, this is the place to be!
The common theme is that you’re going to be working on the ground with hand tools, doing lots of walking in various conditions, lifting, carrying, digging, and doing miscellaneous construction duties.
If you’ve never worked in construction, this is a great primer to become familiar with the equipment and labor involved.
Minimum Qualifications: Must be at least 18 years old and have reliable transportation to get to job sites and/or yard. Our work takes us all over Arizona and you must also be willing to travel to project locations.
