Job Descriptions:
Typical general laborer duties include cleaning, maintenance, loading, and unloading. Their duties may be carried out manually or with the use of machinery and special equipment, such as forklifts, welding machines, drills, power tools, and pressure washers. Helpers/laborers work closely with their supervisor to perform work. Responsibilities would include: ensure that all necessary tools are on site and readily available during the project, keep electrical parts and materials organized, transport tools and materials to the supervisor as needed, cleaning and preparing the work space for the electrician. After the project, helpers clean and tidy the work area, removing unused materials, dust, and dirt as needed.
