OMEX is seeking an experienced, self-driven and energetic Day Area Lead to manage day porter and Janitorial operations at our AZDES and Phoenix PD locations throughout Phoenix, Apache Junction, Coolidge and Casa Grande. This position requires attention to detail while managing day porter operations to insure all cleaning staff complete their assigned custodial duties meeting a prominent level of expectation. Ensure all AZDES, Phoenix PD and OMEX safety standards are adhered to, and serve as the liaison between the front-line employees and OMEX management. Leading and managing people in a team minded environment is important for success. Must be able to obtain a level 2 fingerprint clearance card and Phoenix PD background check. Fingerprint card and Phoenix PD badging will require up front cost to the candidate. All fees will be reimbursed after 90 days of employment with OMEX.
Candidates should be able to multi-task and prioritize task, able to train employees in all aspects of day porter cleaning, able to trouble shoot equipment when necessary, able to work independently, be familiar with smartphone technology, including apps and email systems.
This position is currently Monday - Friday 8am - 4:30pm (Subject to Change).
Employee will report to the Tempe Office located at 537 S. 48th St. Suite 104, Tempe, AZ 85281 at 8am daily for Operational brief and pick up company vehicle for use during shift.
Employee will provide day porter and janitorial support as needed to AZDES/ Phoenix PD office locations.
Duties may include, but are not limited to;
Ability to establish, direct, and schedule a well-trained janitorial team
Establish and maintain the highest level of cleaning services through coaching, comprehensive inspection, and accountability.
Ensure day porter sites are appropriately staffed and employees have adequate supplies and equipment for completion of assignments.
Responds to customers request in the allotted time
Ensure the basic five (5) clean door glass, floors, restrooms, trash emptied, and weekly task are properly cleaned and in good working condition, reports minor repairs to maintenance team
Fill in as needed during employee absence.
Other duties as directed by OMEX Management.
