Goodman's Landscape is seeking an Experienced Landscape Construction Working Crew Leader, Driver, and Skilled Laborer. Step into a perfect opportunity!
Landscape Construction Working Crew Leader: Supervises and coordinates activities of workers doing landscape construction and installation in areas such as high-end residential properties, commercial properties by performing the following duties:
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for ensuring delivery of quality services and customer satisfaction
Installing plants, trees and flowers
Installing flagstone, pavers, tiles, block, brick, retaining walls.
Provide crew leadership on enhancements to improve the quality of landscape construction
Ability to create fire pits, walkways, barbecues and patios
Develop and coordinate plans for the efficient use of personnel and resources
Ability to train and mentor crew members
Understanding and ability to install irrigation systems, lighting and water features
All hardscape and softscape installation knowledge
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manages 3-6 subordinate crew personnel
Responsibilities include planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance
QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience in managing landscape construction personnel
Skilled in Masonry and Paver Installation
Previous Foreman/Lead experience
This position requires excellent organizational, leadership, communication, and time management skills
Recent Construction experience in the Landscape Construction Industry 3+ years
Able to do physical work and lift at least 100 lbs.
Experience in use of Smart Phone technology, not just texting and phone calls
Experience with standard power and manual landscape installation equipment
Walk a property, listen to the Project Manager's needs, and able to finish tasks given
Truck and Trailer Transport Experience a Must
Valid state driver's license and good driving record
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Bobcat/Fork lift Driver
Mason/Pavers
Plant/Tree Knowledge
Compensation: Start $25 - $35 per hour DOE With Evaluation After 2 Weeks - We Pay for Experience! - PLUS Health Insurance Package - After Eligibility Period
