Established excavating and trucking contractor seeking a Mechanic Helper
Duties include
Performing services on:
Heavy Duty Trucks
Light Duty Trucks
Caterpillar and John Deere equipment
Inspect daily operational checks (including inspecting of cutting edges and tires) on all equipment and report problems
Fill out and submit work orders, fuel logs, and all other shop related forms correctly and on time
Perform other related duties as assigned
Prior experience working on heavy equipment is preferred
Perform preventative maintenance
Requirements:
Pass a pre-employment drug screening
Professionalism
Positive attitude and understanding of respect
Ability to maintain accurate equipment records
Willing to work 40+ hours a week
Must have reliable transportation
Ability to maintain a clean and safe working environment
