This is for Immediate Hire
The Day Porter performs manual labor associated with the cleaning of the lobby, restrooms, break areas, and entrances. Duties require moderate physical strength and stamina. Work includes dust mopping, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, cleaning restrooms, removing trash, and operating basic mechanical cleaning equipment. The performance of these duties is Monday - Friday: Only at ADES located at 4635 S. Central Ave., Phoenix from 11am-1pm
Regular Responsibilities include but not limited to:
1. Empty trash containers and recycle receptacles.
2. Dust mop, sweep, wet mop, floors.
3. Clean restroom fixtures and keep restroom supplied with towels, toilet tissue, soap, and other items.
4. Empty trash in break room area.
5. Clean door glass interior and exterior.
6. Police areas around outside of building
7. Perform related work as required and instructed
Requirements
Knowledge of cleaning methods, materials, and equipment
Ability to perform manual tasks requiring moderate physical strength
Ability to operate mechanical cleaning equipment
Ability to follow simple oral and written instructions in the performance of the job
Ability to establish and maintain working relations with supervisor and fellow workers
Spearhead specialized projects which may or may not be directly related to cleaning.
Knowledge in floor care for both carpet and hard floor
Perform equipment and supply inventory at facility location
Must be able to communicate in English verbally and written.

This position requires evening work on Monday - Friday
