Manual removal of machining burrs from turrets, punch press, sheets, laser and welded parts using industry standard deburr and grind techniques. This requires the individual to hand sand, grind, file, deburr, buff and smooth surface metal parts using hand tools or powered equipment requiring care to maintain contour, edges and dimensions.
The individual will work within the group to achieve quality, productivity, and employee performance goals.

QUALIFICATIONS and COMPENTENCIES and PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Must be able to maintain a quick and steady pace working efficiently throughout the shift. Typical work shift is from 8 hours.
Good manual dexterity is required for operating equipment and moving work pieces.
Rotation of head/neck, bending and twisting at the waist, walking, standing, kneeling, reaching, use of high and low impact vibratory tools, flexion/extension, contact with metals, lubricants, solvents, exposure to noise, and the use of personal safety gear for face, eyes, hand/arm and ears.
Requires repetitive motion along with lifting and pushing/pulling up to 50 pounds on regular bases. o Vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, peripheral, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
Adaptable to a changing work environment.
Frequently lift to/from floor-up to 50 lbs.
JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
An aptitude for mechanics, eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity are key for this.
Experience working in a machine shop, or shop classes preferred o Good with hand tools
Ability to learn and interpret prints and process instructions and work safely
Must have good English skills (verbal and written), excellent attention to detail
