Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various welding techniques, fabrication. This role requires proficiency in using hand and power tools, as well as the ability to read blueprints and schematics. The Vehicle Technician will be responsible for performing repairs, maintenance, and modifications on work vehicles to ensure they meet safety and performance standards.
Duties
Perform MIG, TIG, FCAW, and stick welding as required for vehicle modifications and repairs.
Utilize hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment to complete tasks efficiently.
Read blueprints and schematics to understand project requirements and specifications.
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects while adhering to safety protocols.
Utilize basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to vehicle repairs.
Experience
Previous experience fabricating and installing work vehicles from the chassis up.
Proficiency in welding techniques including MIG, TIG, FCAW, stick welding, and plasma cutting.
Experience with electrical systems (12v) and hydraulics.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Spanish preferred
