Job Overview
The Forklift Operator is primarily responsible to operate a telehandler all terrain reach forklift and a straight mass forklift to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count product and to assist and enhance project operations. The position requires attention to safety, detail, accuracy, communication, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Ability to operate a truck and forklift.
Ability to work in a hot non-climate control environment.
Demonstrated organizational and problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changing needs
Perform materials handling movement tasks including loading, unloading, and moving products within the facility.
Communicating with many departments.
Help plan ahead and provide materials where needed for departments and storage.
Be able to use management systems to track inventory and materials.
Attention to safety, detail, accuracy, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Adhere to OSHA regulations and company safety guidelines at all times.
Assist with general job site duties as needed.
Be able to lift 45 lbs.
Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience operating a forklift safely in a manufacturing, industrial or warehouse environment
Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing
Company will Provide Forklift Driver Training for Certification (if needed)
Job Type: Full Time
Shift & Schedule: Day shift. Monday to Friday
Start Time: 7am-3pm
standard time will vary by season
Workers will follow the sun to attempt to reduce time out in the heat
