Our client is a reputable aerospace and metal finishing company seeking a reliable Driver to support daily transportation needs. This role ensures safe and timely movement of processed parts, materials, and documentation between production facilities and local customers.
The Driver is responsible for operating company vehicles to deliver and pick up aerospace components, raw materials, and paperwork. This position requires strong attention to safety, adherence to delivery schedules, and professional communication with internal teams and customers.
Pay Rate: $18–$21/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 1st Shift – 6:00 AM–2:00 PM

Key Responsibilities
Operate company trucks safely to transport products, materials, and documentation to local customers and partner facilities.
Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report vehicle maintenance needs.
Load and unload materials carefully to prevent damage to aerospace components.
Verify counts, packaging, and documentation prior to delivery or pickup.
Maintain accurate delivery logs, route records, and driver documentation.
Assist with shipping and receiving tasks, including staging, labeling, and preparing outgoing orders.
Follow all DOT, OSHA, and company safety regulations at all times.
Communicate professionally with customers and represent the company positively.
Support warehouse and production teams with general duties as required.
Work Environment
Frequent driving in local industrial and commercial areas.
Exposure to hot or cold temperatures depending on the season.
May involve occasional lifting of materials up to 50 lbs.
Work is performed inside vehicles, warehouses, and outdoor loading areas.
Qualifications
Valid Arizona CDL (Class B or higher preferred).
Minimum 2 years of professional commercial driving experience in manufacturing, logistics, warehouse, or industrial environments.
Strong safety record with knowledge of DOT driving regulations and vehicle inspection procedures.
Experience handling or transporting fragile, high-value, or precision components is a plus.
Ability to safely load and unload materials using pallet jacks, carts, and other basic equipment.
Ability to read and follow delivery schedules, routing instructions, and shipping paperwork.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Must pass background check and drug screen; clean MVR required.
