Locksmith Apprentice Wanted.

Have you ever taken something apart and put it back together just to see how it works?

As a Locksmith Apprentice, first you'll learn how locks work, then you'll learn how to open them when people are locked out. House locks, car locks, business locks, desk locks, luggage locks, padlocks You'll learn how to open almost anything with locks. You'll also learn how to re make lost keys, change safe combinations, rekey locks and install master key systems.

We're looking for just one person to teach and we prefer if you have no prior experience. The rate of pay is

$15 / hour for the first 90 days, 10% commission after 90, and up to 50% by the end of your first year or sooner if your a quick learner. After that how much you make after that is up to you.

Of course you can go to McDonalds and earn a dollar or two more to start with but a year later you will be still flipping burgers for the same pay if they don't replace you with a machine that can flip burgers faster. As a locksmith you can earn between $20 - $50 per hour or more in as little as 2 years.

Here are a few of the qualifications necessary

Check each one to see if you're a good fit:

You must be at least 18 years old

You must be clean cut and presentable

Have an even temper

Be a good communicator

Be honest

Pass a criminal background check

You can't be afraid to get your hands dirty

Have the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, bend, kneel and climb ladders.

You must have a clean driving record and reliable transportation.

A properly working smart phone with a data plan is required.

Locksmithing is a serious trade and it requires an investment of time and money on your end.

You will need to spend $300-$500 on tools within your first 30 days, and then a bit more as you learn your craft.

But don't worry, that money will come back to you tenfold.

Work hours are 9 to 5 Monday - Friday to start with. Hours will differ after training.

There's lots of overtime but only if you want it.

Take holidays and weekends off, or make even more money when you work them.

Once you become a locksmith your income is only limited by your ability to learn and you desire to make money.
