Overview: We are seeking a diligent and reliable Porter to join our team. As a Porter, you will be responsible for ensuring our properties are clean and well-maintained, creating a welcoming environment for members of the public and staff alike. This position acquires attention to detail, the ability to work independently, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
Responsibilities:
1. Clean designated areas of the property including parking lots, removing trash and debris, painting over graffiti and
worn areas, empty trash receptacles, replace with liners and ensure proper disposal of waste.
2. Restock supplies such as paper products and cleaning materials.
3. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
4. Follow all health and safety regulations and guidelines.
Qualifications:
1. Previous experience in cleaning or maintenance preferred, but not required.
2. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
3. Strong attention to detail and thoroughness in completing tasks.
4. Good communication skills and ability to interact professionally with staff and members of the public.
5. Physical stamina and mobility to perform cleaning tasks, including bending, kneeling, and lifting.
Compensation:
Competitive hourly wage of $18.00 per hour starting , with a raise interview within nine (9) months.
