Title: Scenic Painter – Event and Theatrical Build (Temporary Full-Time thru Feb. 2026)

About Us:
We are a production company that builds high-end scenic environments for some large-scale events. We are looking for a solid painter to join our shop in Scottsdale. This isn't house painting - we need someone who really understands paint and how to work in a fast-paced shop environment.
What You’ll Do:
- Paint and finish large scenic elements for live event spaces
- Apply base coats, detail finishing, and specialty scenic treatments (woodgrain, stone, metallics, etc.)
- Collaborate with carpenters and designers to bring concepts to life
- Work in a fast-paced shop environment with deadlines
Requirements:
- Experience as a scenic painter, muralist, or theatrical painter (faux finish background is great)
- Comfortable with brush, roller, and spray techniques
- Knows how to mix paints & match colors
- Can set up, run, and clean a spray rig without a problem
- Familiarity with different coatings and specialty paints
- Experience working alongside carpenters and fabricators a plus
- Strong eye for color, texture, and detail
- Detail-oriented with a problem-solver mindset
- Comfortable working on tight deadlines in a fast-paced shop
- Positive team player
- Ability to travel if needed, have reliable transportation, work outside normal hours (extended hours, nights, weekends, holidays)

- Temporary Full-Time: September 2025 – February 2026
- Shop located in Scottsdale, AZ
- Competitive hourly pay based on experience ($30–$40/hr)
