Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee daily operations in our Phoenix warehouse. This role is critical to ensuring our materials are received, organized, and delivered to job sites on time. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, and skilled at managing people, processes, and inventory in a fast-paced construction environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, and distribution of materials
- Track and manage inventory levels; ensure accuracy in counts and records
- Coordinate with project managers, installers, and vendors to ensure timely material delivery to job sites
- Implement and maintain safe working practices, ensuring compliance with company and OSHA standards
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient warehouse environment
- Operate forklifts and other equipment as needed (training provided if required)
- Identify process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce errors
Qualifications
- 3+ years of warehouse or logistics management experience (construction or building materials preferred)
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Knowledge of inventory management practices and software
- Ability to operate a forklift (certification preferred, but training available)
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
