Associate Attorney for sole practitioner practicing exclusively in the area of family law. You will engage directly with clients, managing your own caseload while benefiting from the 30-year experience of your managing attorney This is an exciting opportunity to learn and develop your skills as a family law litigator.
Responsibilities
As an Associate Attorney, you will:
Provide expert legal counsel in family law
Conduct comprehensive legal research using tools such as LexisNexis and Westlaw to support case strategies.
Draft legal documents including pleadings and motions with precision and clarity.
Engage in negotiations on behalf of clients to achieve favorable outcomes.
Represent clients in court proceedings with confidence and professionalism.
Stay updated on current laws and regulations affecting practice area.
Collaborate with senior attorney to develop case strategies and prepare for trials or hearings.
Requirements
To thrive in this role, you should possess:
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Admission to the Arizona bar.
Strong knowledge of family law or a demonstrably serious desire to learn family law.
Proven experience in legal research and writing skills that demonstrate attention to detail.
Familiarity with legal drafting processes and administrative tasks within a law office environment.
Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to advocate effectively for clients.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work collaboratively within a team setting.
Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and ethical standards in all interactions.
