Quality Assurance Inspector for Aerospace company building airplane batteries
Must:
-Be able to work from electronic drawings, NIL-STD specs and engineering drawings
-Be Proficient at GD&T (Geometric, Dimensions, and Tolerance)
-Be capable of utilizing standard inspection instruments, tools, and gages
-Work closely with the Quality and Process Engineering departments and interfaces with all areas of the organization
-Be proficient in Microsoft applications, including Word, Excel, and Access
-Document and process non-conformances
Experience Required:
- Experience programming and operating Keyence Instant Measurement System, or similar CMM (Coordinate Measuring
Machine)
- Minimum three to five years of inspection / quality experience in an aerospace manufacturing environment.
- J-STD certification a plus. Must be willing to get J-Standard certified for inspection of electronic parts/components.
- Forklift Certified, or willing to learn a plus.
- Previous FAA DMIR experience a plus
Regular Schedule: Monday - Friday 7am-3:30pm (possibility of flexibility)
