PLASTEEL, a manufacturing company in Tempe, AZ, is seeking an experienced CNC Lathe Machinist to join our team. This position involves the setup and operation of CNC lathes to produce precision parts from alloyed steel, stainless steel, non-ferrous alloys, and plastics. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can work with minimal supervision and thrives in a team-oriented environment.
Minimum Requirements:
At least 5 years of experience as a CNC Lathe Set-Up/Operator.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and specifications.
Possession of personal basic measuring tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers).
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.
Key Responsibilities:
Setup and Operation: Set up CNC lathes and manufacture tight-tolerance parts per customer specifications.
Quality Assurance: Use precision tools such as calipers and micrometers to ensure parts meet drawing requirements.
Team Collaboration: Support teammates and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
Documentation: Complete and maintain ISO 9001:2015 and AS9100-compliant documentation.
Production Goals: Follow production schedules to meet customer deadlines.
